PM pays homage to Sant Kabirdas on his 500th death anniversary

Both the 500th Death anniversary and the 620th prakatya utsav of Kabir happen to fall this year.

Prime Minister also unveiled a plaque to mark the laying of Foundation Stone of Kabir Academy, which will highlight the great saint's teachings and thought. 

Prime Minister hit out at the opposition for indulging in divisive and opportunistic politics.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented the Yogi Adityanath government as a model of good governance that puts into action Kabir's thought of harmonious development.

He said 5 crore Jan Dhan accounts have been opened in UP over 4 years.

There are nearly 80 lakh ujjwala beneficiaries in the state who now have cooking gas connections. 1.25 crore toilets have been built under the swachta abhiyaan. 1 crore 70 Lakh people in U.P are now part of the social security net under various schemes.
