PM Modi launches key health projects in New Delhi's AIIMS

PM Modi laid the Foundation Stone of the National Centre for Ageing at AIIMS. This will provide multi-speciality healthcare. The centre will have 200 general ward beds. Prime Minister also inaugurated the 300-bed Power-Grid Vishram Sadan at AIIMS.

Motorable tunnel connecting AIIMS to the Trauma Centre was also inagurated.

During the same event, the Prime Minister dedicated the 555-bed Super Speciality Block in Safdarjung Hospital. He also dedicated the 500-bed New Emergency Block in Safdarjung Hospital. Speaking on the occasion the Prime Minister said that these facilities will help people to get better helath care.

Prime Minister asserts his govenment has made health care accessible to common people as never before, and schemes such as Ayushman Bharat will build a healthy foundation for New India.

While addressing the gathering, Union Minister J P Nadda said that the heath care sector in the country under the leadership of Prime minister Narendra Modi has come up in the forefront. He said that many AIIMS being constructed in different parts of the country will strive to maintain the same standards and procedures.

The Union Minister also re-iterated the benefits of the Ayushman Bharat for the common man, recounting the immense health benefits that will accrue to the nation when the scheme is implemented throughout the country.
