Ground Report: Club houses for tea garden workers

These workers work day & night to make ends meet, but till recently they didn't even have a proper place to relax. Tea garden workers include majority of women workers as well. Many of them also bring their children to work and had to keep them in the gardens while they were working, all thanks to Modi govt  with the help of the Centre, Club houses have been developed in the vicinity of the tea gardens. They cater to the recreational needs of men, women and even their children. 

The Chiring Denijan panchayat of Dibrugarh in Assam constructed this club with the help of funding received from Centre... These club houses have proper arrangements for children where they play and are completely safe. Workers be it men or women, are happy and all praise for the Central government for the initiative.
